1. About RingCast
RingCast (https://ringcast.wedding) is operated by Vasques Marques, 2870-475 Montijo, Portugal, an individual trader. Contact: support@ringcast.wedding.
RingCast products are sold through the Etsy shop Digitaloja. Etsy holds the seller identification information required for operating the marketplace. Additional legal identification details may be provided to competent authorities or legally entitled parties upon legitimate request.
2. Who may use RingCast
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement.
3. Etsy and RingCast — who does what
Etsy handles checkout, payment, the purchase transaction and your Etsy order/receipt, under Etsy's marketplace rules. Refunds, cancellations and transaction disputes are handled through Etsy where applicable. RingCast does not process payments.
RingCast provides purchase verification, activation, the editor, website generation, RSVP configuration, Cloudflare publishing and ongoing use of the product.
4. The product
RingCast is a digital product: a browser-based wedding website template and editor. No physical item is supplied. A modern browser is required, and internet access is required for activation, online publishing and connected services. There is no monthly RingCast subscription.
5. Activation and licence
- You activate RingCast with the order number of a valid, paid Etsy purchase.
- An individual design unlocks that design; the Complete Collection unlocks all designs available in it.
- Your purchase gives you, the purchaser, a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to create and publish your own wedding website(s).
- You must not share, sell or publish your order number, activation or support codes, or resell, redistribute or offer RingCast templates as your own product.
6. The editor, local storage and backups
Your project is saved in your own browser on your device. RingCast does not keep a copy on its servers, so clearing browser data, changing device or using another browser can lose your work. You are responsible for downloading and keeping backups (.ringcast files) and exports.
7. Your content
You are responsible for everything you enter or publish: texts, images, links and the third-party services you connect. You must have the right to use any content you publish, including other people's photos and personal details. You must not use RingCast for unlawful, infringing or harmful content. You keep ownership of your content.
8. Intellectual property
The RingCast designs, templates, editor and software remain the property of the operator. Apart from the licence in section 5, no rights are transferred.
9. RSVP and Google Sheets
The RSVP form can send guest replies to a Google Sheet you control. You set up and manage that connection and the guest data it receives. Google's services are subject to Google's own terms.
10. Publishing with Cloudflare
Online publishing uses your own Cloudflare account. Your website is hosted in that account and remains under your control, subject to Cloudflare's terms. Disconnecting RingCast does not delete your website. You are responsible for your Cloudflare account, domains and any costs Cloudflare may charge.
11. Third-party services
Etsy, Cloudflare and Google are independent services. RingCast is not responsible for their availability, changes or terms. The term "Etsy" is a trademark of Etsy, Inc.; RingCast is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc.
12. Availability and changes
We aim to keep RingCast available and working well but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may improve or change features. Websites you have already exported or published keep working independently of RingCast.
13. Support
For help, write to support@ringcast.wedding.
14. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect losses, lost content you did not back up, or problems caused by third-party services or content you provide. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.
15. Misuse and termination
We may refuse or withdraw activation where an order is invalid, cancelled, refunded or shared, or where RingCast is misused in breach of these terms.
16. Consumer rights and governing law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts there. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights, including rights relating to digital content.
17. Complaints and dispute resolution
If something goes wrong, please contact us first at support@ringcast.wedding so we can try to resolve it.
Consumers may also submit a complaint through the Portuguese electronic complaints book (Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico) at www.livroreclamacoes.pt.
Where a dispute cannot be settled directly, and you are a consumer resident in Portugal, you may refer it to the Centro de Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo de Lisboa (CACCL), the authorised consumer alternative dispute resolution entity whose geographical area covers the place where Vasques Marques is established (2870-475 Montijo, Portugal). Information about the entity, and the forms for requesting information or submitting a complaint, are available on its website at www.centroarbitragemlisboa.pt.
Where the circumstances of a particular dispute mean that a different competent alternative dispute resolution entity applies, that entity may be used instead. The list of authorised Portuguese Alternative Dispute Resolution (RAL) entities is published by the Portuguese Directorate-General for Consumers at www.consumidor.gov.pt.
